Election Information

Register to Vote

The last day to Register to Vote is October 3rd. If you're not sure if you are registered, or if you need to register visit https://www.votetexas.gov/register/index.html to learn more. 

Vote by Mail / Absentee Voting

If you are over 65, are sick or have a disability, are in jail,  or will be out of the COUNTY during early voting and on Election Day you may request to vote by mail.  Voting by mail and Absentee voting are the same process in Texas and you can learn more here https://www.sos.texas.gov/elections/voter/reqabbm.shtml

Early Voting

Early Voting in Person Starts on October 13 and Ends on October 30.  You can find hours and locations here: https://www.dallascountyvotes.org/upcoming-election-information/ 

For Coppell Residents, early voting will be at Coppell Town Center (City Hall), the Coppell Arts Center (in Old Town Coppell) and the Valley Ranch Library.

Straight Ticket Voting

There is NO straight ticket voting this election.  Every voter will need to vote in each and every race for your vote to count in those races, please review this voter guide, do your candidate research and vote all the way down the ballot.  The races at the end are just as important as those at the top and every race should be researched in order to cast an informed vote.
